Choosing not to respond to “injustice” does require effort for us humans. We could easily find many things to battle with every day but that wouldn’t feed our natural positive state. Using a valid example of the lack of interview feedback, if we spent time on the many negative things we encounter daily, we would all probably go insane.

To mentally step away from things that make us feel bad is a skill that requires a bit of effort. Not responding seems counter intuitive as it makes us feel that by not expressing our anger we are not expressing ourselves. But very quickly, we become lighter and calmer overall, which leads to all sorts of positive doors opening. Weird but true.
